As the Director of Business Systems Integration, Joseph R. Schmucker draws upon over 13 years of diverse professional experience in order to provide a very specialized service.

Joe's career started out in public accounting where he worked at Price Waterhouse as an auditor from 1989 through 1992. He earned his CPA certification while performing auditing services primarily for publicly held companies and regional utilities. Joe also was introduced to financial systems consulting when he implemented a general ledger accounting system for the computer consulting department.

From 1993 through 1994, Joe prepared tax returns for international companies while employed by Ernst & Young, LLP. 

In 1995, Joe joined Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, a local CPA firm in Buffalo, NY where he was Vice President of the computer consulting services department.  His primary focus was implementing accounting and manufacturing software packages.

In 1997, Joe co-founded Software Solutions Group, Inc.  He spent four years growing Software Solutions Group into a successful consulting business. During this time, he became a Certified Software Engineer for the Microsoft Great Plains products and developed custom software and software integrations. He wrote a very successful 3^rd party invoicing system for an outsourcing company in Buffalo which he later joined in order to focus his efforts on this specialized business. 

Joe is an accomplished software developer and systems integrator and joined Algonquin Studios in 2003. With his financial accounting background complemented by his programming experience, he brings a powerful combination of skills to the service of Algonquin Studios clients.
