Home » About » Case Studies » OrangeGlo OrangeGloOrangeGlo tapped Algonquin Studios' extensive Japanese market experience in the development of a Japanese product catalog, web site and e-commerce system for the Japanese consumer market in order to market their innovative line of home cleaning products. This project, which called for Algonquin Studios' knowledge and experience in print layout as well as their web and graphic design capabilities, relied heavily upon Algonquin Studios' extensive translation services and web site localization acumen. The net result of the partnership was that it enabled OrangeGlo to augment their preexisting Japanese marketing efforts with a much-needed catalog and web presence that incorporated a traditional Japanese look and feel. The development of OrangeGlo's Japanese language catalog and web site, which were both based on preexisting versions for the U.S. market, entailed extensive use of Algonquin Studios' graphic development, layout and web design capabilities. After OrangeGlo approved the content of the English master versions, Algonquin Studios parsed the text for translation into its Transmerge localization workflow system. Transmerge, an online web application that provides centralized workflow, features a real-time email notification system that creates an efficient management method for the entire translation process. Following the completion of the translation stage, OrangeGlo's in-country (JAPANESE) reviewers were automatically notified by the Transmerge system of the availability of their assignment and were able to conduct their entire review online within the framework of the Transmerge system. Not only did Transmerge provide a vehicle for the translation of the approved English content and for OrangeGlo Japan's personnel to review the translated content, it also enabled the Japan office to review both the catalog and web site layout online. Algonquin Studios has provided OrangeGlo with a single cohesive brand presence across multiple mediums in the Japanese market.
