Coldwell Banker Europe Selects QuantumCMS for Multilingual Web Content Management

Coldwell Banker Europe (CBE) has signed an agreement with Algonquin Studios to utilize QuantumCMS as the platform for deploying and maintaining CBE's multilingual website (coldwellbankereurope.com) and extranet (cbelink.com). Initial rollout will occur in four countries -- Germany, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands -- this month, with additional country sites to be created as Coldwell Banker country franchises are opened.

Greg Norton, Algonquin Studios' Vice President of Sales, stated, "The QuantumCMS platform will provide CBE with the tools to manage web content in each European country, where franchises are opened, in the language of that country. This will be particularly important for CBELINK, the electronic distribution channel for the company's training and marketing materials."

QuantumCMS, first implemented in 2001, allows non-technical users to easily update, and add information to, their websites without having to learn HTML, or fear corrupting the site's design. With a 400 percent increase in web pages between 1999 and 2002, this tool will revolutionize the way companies worldwide create, update, and maintain their web content.

Algonquin Studios and Coldwell Banker Europe are continuing their collaboration through the former's development of an Internet portal scheduled for deployment in the first quarter of 2003.
