Thiemecke Co-Authors Book on Web Content Management
Buffalo, New York - David M. Thiemecke, co-founder and partner at Algonquin Studios, has recently completed, with fellow authors Dave Addey, James Ellis and Phil Suh, a book titled, Content Management Systems. Published by glasshaus, this book serves as a guide to help organizations evaluate and select a content management solution, implement it and migrate existing content to it.
Thiemecke, an expert on "Content Management and Publishing," wrote chapter 4 and served as a technical reviewer for several other chapters in the book. In addition, on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, he will be speaking as part of a free seminar series open to the public at the Buffalo Club on the subject of Web Content Management and how companies can take control of the content on their websites.
Thiemecke, the architect of Algonquin Studios' content management system ? QuantumCMS - also serves as the company's VP of Technology. Prior to founding Algonquin Studios, Thiemecke studied as a software engineer on Carnegie Mellon University projects with ABB/Daimler-Benz (now Bombardier Transportation). He graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 1996 with B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering.
