Algonquin Studios Founder Authors Chapter on Web Usability

Cover of Usability: The Site Speaks for Itself

Adrian Roselli, a co-founder of and partner at Algonquin Studios, has written a chapter for the upcoming Glasshaus book Usability: The Site Speaks for Itself. The book examines a handful of highly trafficked sites on the web and details their usability and interface design goals and outcomes.

Adrian's chapter focuses on evolt.org, an on-line community, mailing list and web site made up of web professionals from around the globe who share their knowledge and experience in web development. In addition to being a founding member of evolt.org and frequent author, Adrian's contributions include implementing a design for all the current sites that stresses usability and accessibility. As an initial developer he has also been tasked with the job of implementing and maintaining the HTML in the web sites. In addition, he runs and maintains the evolt.org browser archive, the largest collection of web browsers in the world.

Other web sites featured in the book include eBay, BBC News, Economist.com, Synfonts.com, and MetaFilter.com. The book is slated for release in late May.

Adrian is continuing his work as a technical editor for books on Cascading Style Sheets and Content Management Systems, both to be published by Glasshaus.
