Algonquin Studios, a Buffalo-based provider of web design and Internet commerce solutions, is working with the City of Buffalo's Management Information Systems Department to design and implement a new Web site for the city as part of a new e-Government Initiative is to make city government more responsive to its residents. The Web site will provide residents and businesses easy access to city services, including the ability to pay parking tickets, the garbage user fee, as well as other city permits and licenses online. The company is also working on a new site for Roswell Park Cancer Research Institute, which will include consolidating a dozen different sites into three Web sites: the Roswell Park Public site, an internal site and a Roswell Park Alliance Foundation site.
