Algonquin Studios is working with the Olmsted Center for the Visually Impaired to design and develop a new web site using QuantumCMS, Algonquin's web-based content management system. Algonquin will ensure the web site will be designed to meet current accessibility best practices, allowing users with visual impairments to use the web site.
Since 1907, the Olmsted Center for the Visually Impaired has been a leader in quality services for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
"Olmsted needs a site accessible to its constituency. They came to us because of our proven expertise in accessibility and standards compliance," commented Adrian Roselli, Senior Usability Engineer of Algonquin Studios.
The web site will comply with the World Wide Web Consortium's HTML & CSS standards, AAA guidelines of the Web Accessibility Initiative, U.S. section 508, and U.K. accessibility guidelines.
