Algonquin Announces Changes to Executive Management Team

Algonquin Studios, is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2012 Steven B. Raines and Stephen M. Kiernan II have taken new roles within the leadership of the company.

Mr. Raines was named Chief Executive Officer earlier this month. Since 1995, Steve has built Internet and Intranet applications, electronic commerce systems, scalable enterprise-wide infrastructures, order entry systems and production analysis software using Microsoft technologies. Prior to co-founding Algonquin Studios in 1998, Steve was a Senior Programmer/Analyst at SOFTBANK Services Group (now Client Logic). While there, he worked extensively on delivering web-enabled applications that integrated sales, order collection and fulfillment systems.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, with Honors, from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Mr. Kiernan has been named Algonquin’s President after serving as the company’s Director of Sales and Marketing since 2007. Stephen has been designing and building business solutions for clients for more than a decade and has extensive knowledge of many web-based technologies. Before joining Algonquin Studios, Stephen worked as a multimedia consultant in Boston, Massachusetts, with clients including Bentley Motors, Houghton Mifflin, and Marriott International.

Stephen sits on the Board of Directors at Buffalo Niagara Enterprise. He earned his Masters of Business Administration at the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Multimedia from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.
