Geoff Sandner

Senior PC/Network Support Technician

Geoff performs network and computing infrastructure upgrades for many of Algonquin Studios' IT clients including charitable foundations, law firms, accounting practices, and production facilities. Some of his most recent projects include:

· A Polycom PVX video conferencing setup with remote locations in the Northeast and 24 hour systems monitoring

· A Windows Small Business Server 2003 setup, structured backup solution, and centralized updates

· A full Cisco VoIP implementation, utilizing Cisco Unified Communications Server Business Edition, Cisco 2811 Router, and full PRI voice line

· Assorted audio/video deployments and implementations utilizing Microsoft and Cisco technologies 

· An Exchange 2007 deployment, along with a Server 2000 to Server 2003 domain upgrade and network infrastructure upgrade

· A network infrastructure upgrade involving the creation of a wireless mesh network with certificate and Active Directory based authentication

· The building and maintenance of a Linux mail solution based on QMail for hosted platform customers

As a Senior Technician, he is also responsible for training and mentoring other Algonquin Studios' techs. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
